今回チャンは、2024年5月29日（水）から5月31日（金）までの3日間、大阪ビッグサイトにて「JECA FAIR2024~第72回電設工業展」を開催します。昭和32年（1957年）から開催され、今回で71回目となる本展示会では、電気機器関連の機材、工具、計測器、ソフトウェア、システムなどの新製品の紹介をはじめ、施工技術、施工実績、学術的成果を紹介し、電気機器業界の魅力を発信します。パワーや働き方などを紹介する各種イベントを含め、あらゆる情報を発信する国内大級の電気機器総合展示会。電気機器業界は、人々の生活にも密着した場所で人々の生活やライフラインを支え、住宅やオフィスビル、工場などの電気機器の建設や維持管理を通じて、国民生活の向上と経済の持続的成長を支える役割を担っています。
電設技術の発達で社会が便利になる一方、温室効果ガス排出量の増加で地球温暖化は確実に進んでいる。環境に配慮し、太陽光や風力を使った自然可能エネルギーの活用が増えるとみられている。これからの地球環境を守り、未来世代にも平和で豊かな暮らしを継承できる社会の実現に向けてJECA FAIR2023の開催テーマは、「持続可能な社会の実現に向けて！歩を踏み出した電設技術」。
