FedEx volunteers donated their time as part of the ‘FedEx Cares’initiative to transform the centre at Action for Children’sSouthwark Young Carers service.
The volunteers spent more than 50 hours helping to clean andpaint the centre, and give the garden a makeover. With theirassistance, Southwark Young Carers is able to continue its work tohelp ensure young carers have access to the same opportunities andexperiences that other children often take for granted.
This activity was part of the FedEx Cares program where teammembers across the world give back to their communities. Throughthis initiative, FedEx supports a number of charitableorganisations in the UK and around the world, including Action forChildren in the UK, which they have supported for four years.
